Welcome to FreeeSIM.edu.rs. This platform is governed by the Educational Infrastructure Council (EIC) in Belgrade. By accessing this portal or applying for the Global Student Mobility Grant, you agree to comply with the following institutional bylaws and technical regulations.
1. Grant Eligibility Requirements
The Global Student Mobility Grant is a non-commercial provision limited to individuals who meet the following verified criteria:
- Active enrollment in a recognized High School, University, or Research Institute.
- Possession of a valid institutional email address (e.g., .edu, .ac, .rs).
- Intent to use the provision for academic travel, international exchange (Erasmus+), or cross-border research.
Applications submitted using commercial email providers (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) without supplementary institutional ID verification will be systematically rejected by the EIC handshake protocol.
2. Provisioning & Technical Limits
The grant consists of a software-defined eSIM module provisioned via GSMA SGP.22 v3.0 standards. The technical limits are immutable:
- Quota: 3GB of high-speed 5G/LTE data.
- Validity: 45 calendar days following the initial network handshake.
- Lifecycle: One (1) grant allocation per student per academic semester.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Recipients of the grant must utilize the connectivity in a manner consistent with academic integrity. Prohibited activities include:
- Circumventing regional network restrictions via unauthorized proxy manipulation.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer the RSP (Remote SIM Provisioning) handshake.
- Using the grant for any illegal activity under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Serbia or the host nation.
4. Data Sovereignty & Privacy
Consistent with our Transparency Report, FreeeSIM.edu.rs operates under a "Privacy by Design" mandate. We do not monetize user traffic. All Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is purged within 48 hours of verification. Users are encouraged to review our full Institutional Transparency White Paper for detailed data purge protocols.
5. Limitation of Liability
While the EIC strives for 99.9% uptime, this connectivity is provided as a best-effort educational grant. The Council is not liable for academic or financial losses resulting from network outages, hardware incompatibility, or regional carrier failures in the host destination.
6. Amendments to Bylaws
The Educational Infrastructure Council may amend these terms at any time to reflect changes in grant funding or international telecom regulations. Significant changes will be announced via the institutional portal.
